ROWE, Margaret Lee

Plymouth—Mrs. Margaret (Peg) Rowe, 78, a resident of Plymouth and formerly of Rochester, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, 1989 at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home.

  She was born Oct. 27, 1910 in Terre Haute, the daughter of Timothy and Catherine Dalton Lee. She was married Aug. 21, 1941 in Indianapolis to Dr. Howard H. Rowe, who preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1970.

  She was a retired registered nurse. She received her nursing degree from St. Anthony’s Hospital in Terre Haute. She assisted her husband in his medical practice in Rochester. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Canterbury Manor Nursing Home in Rochester.

  She was a former member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rochester.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lee Ann) Savage, Bluffton, Ohio, and Mrs. Steve (Dina Grace) Heishman, Plymouth; one son, Patrick, Attica; seven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Irma Shea, Terre Haute.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rochester with Father Francis Kilcline officiating. Burial was in Athens Cemetery, Athens, Ind.

  Foster and Good Funeral Home, Rochester, was in charge of arrangements.
